Strategic Partnerships Manager

As the Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will lead internal and client facings facets of some of the largest Enterprise Solutions Loyalty partners. You will work closely with finance, controllership, settlement, compliance, legal and operations teams to ensure Expedia is providing best in class partnership services in accordance with contractual commitments.

You will help manage the strategic accounts to revenue targets, as well as identify and drive growth initiatives. This is an opportunity to learn a high performing, multi-million dollar and complex businesses from the ground up.

What you’ll do:

Manage and optimize our partnerships operations to ensure the highest standards of delivery in the following areas:

  • Controllership

  • Work closely with the controllership teams to manage and deliver monthly multimillion-dollar partnerships' settlements

  • Manage the effective fulfillment of contractual obligations, as well as optimizing compliance processes (Information Security and other audits, compliance requests, partner escalations, etc.)

  • Tech Operations: Work closely with internal and partner operations team to ensure best in class operations monitoring, processes and effective management of incidents

  • Servicing Operations: Work closely with internal and partner servicing  operations team to ensure best in class servicing operation. This includes managing the largest cost drivers of our business, identifying areas for cost reduction, and driving efficiencies where possible

  • Work collaboratively with partners to identify new business opportunities and drive new revenue streams

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience

  • Master of Business Administration in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience preferred

  • 3 to 5 years experience in a account management or strategic partnership role

  • Have a strong finance background and business acumen

  • Have prior experience in client facing roles & building strategic partnerships

  • Have prior experience managing and adhering to complex contracts

  • Are comfortable using data to communicate and make effective business  decisions

  • Are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and driving effective change within a complex set of stakeholders

  • Can identify commercial risks and communicate them effectively

  • Can navigate and manage complex partner organizational structure

  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Have prior travel industry & tech experience

  • Are comfortable working in a fast pace and complex environment to meet high partner standards
