Senior Global Product Manager
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with platform product management experience to partner closely with marketing and technology teams to build winning solutions for Expedia Group’s Brands team and B2B partners to acquire, engage, and retain travelers. As a senior product owner part of a cross-functional team you will drive the strategy and evolution of leading edge data driven products and features that deliver 1:1 traveler engagement and marketing campaigns at scale.
You will be a key lead of the team that builds a holistic offering that enables marketers to effortlessly deliver relevant, engaging, and personalized in-product experiences across the traveller lifecycle from new visitors coming in through growth marketing channels to loyal customers that are coming back for their next trip.
Your goals will include building platform tooling, and automated capabilities that fuel velocity and unlock imaginative new experiences across web and app. Other duties will include performing market analysis, competitive analysis, author product requirement/test documents working with marketing, product owners across team(s), engineering and data science teams to execute against a planned roadmap.
The ideal candidate will be visionary in their thinking and pragmatic in their execution. You will need to want to invent and ship. This role will help push forward the online marketing space into a complete offering. You must be able to partner well with a strong ability to bring clarity to large teams.
You must be able to clearly communicate issues, ideas and concepts both verbally and in written form between business and technical parties.
What you'll do :
Establish product vision, business goals, product roadmap and global rollout plans
Manage trade-offs between cost, schedule, and business benefit, and ensure successful delivery of set features to production that meet both internal and external customer needs
Coordinate with all participants in the digital marketing ecosystem to develop strategy and drive the implementation of products that improve traveler’s end-to-end experience resulting in higher engagement, conversion and repeats
Work with marketing, engineering and data science teams on the execution of improving advertising landing experiences across key channels to help drive marketing at scale
Work as a part of a highly collaborative cross-functional team to oversee the planning, development and design of strategy from product initiation decision through the end of the product life cycle.
Present strategy, progress and product feature to internal stakeholders at a senior level
Be the visible advocate for your products internally and externally
Who you are:
5+ years in a direct product management role
Outstanding product thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Proven ability to build and manage world class products and manage conflicting product priorities
Experience in setting Test & Learn agenda and applying analytic insights to the test plan
Highly organized and adept at prioritization - You can recognize and keep track of all the moving pieces in projects, adjusting to new information and goals
Proven self-starter who can identify new opportunities, develop strategies to drive growth, and push projects forward, as well as a desire to push innovation and drive business
Experience building marketing platforms and solutions for Merchandising, CRM, SEO, SEM, and Meta channels is a plus;
Experience with machine learning, data platforms, and technologies is a plus
Bachelor degree required; MBA is a plus or in a related field or equivalent related professional experience
