Finance Analyst

Are you a team player looking for your first role in Finance? Expedia Group is looking for a Finance Analyst to join the Global Commercial Finance Reporting & Insights team!

What you'll do:

• Prepare weekly and monthly management reports and highlight key insights and business drivers

• Work closely with Commercial Finance, Analytics and Data Intelligence teams to continually improve and automate core reporting

• Contribute to Month End reporting processes through in depth understanding and insight of P&L and trading drivers, for distribution to key decision makers in the business

• Develop strong working relationships with commercial teams across the E4B organization to support forecasting and planning cycles, including improvement and development of financial models

• Lead ad-hoc tasks and projects across the FP&A remit

Who you are:

Essential

• Bachelors degree, 2:1 (Business, Economics, Maths, Science or Humanities preferred)
• Prepared to complete the CIMA qualification
• Very well organized and efficient with the ability to manage several tasks concurrently within demanding deadlines
• Attention to detail and a dedication to data integrity
• Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills (both written and oral)
• Professional, “get it done” attitude and work ethic
• Demonstrable experience of working as part of a team to meet objectives

Desirable

• Experience with ERP system (Looker/Business Object/SAP/Oracle/Hyperion Planning/Essbase)
• Strong excel skills with experience of running large and sophisticated data sets
• Exposure (theoretical or practical) to SQL/data extraction techniques
