Senior Director, Global Payments Strategy

United States - Washington - Seattle

Senior Director, Global Payments Strategy

Expedia’s Global Payments Platform is uniquely positioned at the intersection of two highly dynamic industries – this is where Online Travel meets Payments.

Expedia Group’s Payment Platform handles global payment flows worth hundreds of billions of USD between the many millions of Travelers and Travel Suppliers who leverage the Expedia Group Travel Marketplace.  Our portfolio of high-performing global and regional payment products is unmatched in the Travel industry.

As we seek to further leverage Payments to expand our competitive advantage as a travel marketplace, the Senior Director, Global Payments Strategy will assume a leadership role in defining the long-term evolution of Expedia’s Payment Platform.

This role includes strategy development, roadmap planning and governance for a high-performing team of payments specialist, spanning multiple payment functions - product, technology, BI & data, payment partnerships and operations. This role will also lead 4-5 person team of non-tech project managers to execute a larger portfolio of strategic and tactical initiatives. This can introduce some confusion with current TPM team at EGP.

This role will collaborate with a broad variety of partners and senior leaders across Expedia’s eCommerce Platform, brands, supply organizations, corporate development and several other corporate teams.  As a member of Expedia Group's Payment Leadership team, visibility and impact of this role will be very high across Expedia Group.
