User Experience Designer III

The Supply Partner Experience team at Expedia works to ensure outstanding and accessible user experiences for our supply partners (in other words, our hotel and vacation rental property owners). We empower our partners to attract and delight travelers. We consistently strive to provide our partners with a simple onboarding process, management tools that allow unprecedented insight, and personalized recommendations that help them succeed in the travel marketplace.

Being part of the UX community, you will partner with researchers, content designers, product managers, and engineers to create the best value for our suppliers. You will work with and contribute back to our design system and embrace the app-first mentality. Your role is to synthesize all the feedback from the partners into interactions that make our diverse customers confident in working with our products.

Your mission is to improve supply partners’ web and mobile app tool. Specifically, the rates and availability in the marketplace and setting up property listing to best match or go beyond traveler expectations.

What you’ll do:

  • Design and document interactions with existing experience components

  • Craft and tell stories that frame the problems and illustrate your solutions

  • Advocate for the user needs by interpreting research and analytical data

  • Contribute to the design system

  • Lead design swarm, sprints, and coach other designers to improve their skills

Who you are:

  • Built digital products’ experience from concept to release, followed by optimization

  • Case study of your best work that portrays the team, thought process, successes, and pivots along the way

  • Beneficial: Knowledge of front-end scripting languages for prototyping purposes (like in Framer and similar)

  • Beneficial: Experience in designing for diverse groups of people (internationalization, localization, accessibility, etc.
