Senior Director, Product – AI Platform

Expedia Group is looking for a Senior Director of Product Management for our AI Platform and Products. This includes leading the end-to-end Machine Learning journey for developers and bringing our Machine Learning as a Service to market. You will help define the vision, roadmap, and execution plan for AI-powered strategic initiatives including Personalization, Insights, and Natural Language Processing.

What you’ll do:

  • Create product vision and drive the roadmap, execution, and go to market strategy for a Portfolio or Program of products, projects, and initiatives

  • Deliver solutions in a fast-paced environment while balancing effective communication to build and manage relationships with partners, bridging the technical and the commercial worlds to design experiences that our customers love

  • Bias toward action to break down complex problems into steps that drive product development at high speed

  • Collaborate with different businesses to solve their specific challenges while putting the customer first

  • Define a set of success metrics to measure customer satisfaction and business impact and be able to utilize the min decision-making

  • Use excellent judgment in prioritizing between focusing on existing versus new customers and between features, architectural improvements and operational excellence

  • Stay on top of customer preferences, technology trends, and market demand

  • Lead the organization through change, evolution, and growth; the right leader will evolve and scale the organization along with the business

 

Who you are:

  • Significant and validated industry experience in leading product management teams

  • Ideal experience may include product leadership in developing partner, enterprise or developer tools

  • Previous success leading the complete roadmap development, ownership, and execution

  • Experience driving a program which is a complex portfolio of Product, Tech/Engineering and Operations initiatives

  • Prior management of five or more employees

  • MBA preferred

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of flexibility and accountability, in a constantly fast-evolving environment

  • Passion for Results: motivated by goal achievement and continuous improvement, with the enthusiasm and drive to motivate your team and the wider organization

  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate a keen understanding of business operations and the organizational levers (systems, processes, departments, functions) that drive profitable growth
