Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) is seeking an experienced and hardworking Senior Account Manager to follow our Platform expansion in APAC.

EPS is the fast-growing B2B partnership business of Expedia Group. We give our partners access to travel inventory and technology to reach new markets and better serve their customers. We are truly a global business, working with partners who serve all types of travelers – from airlines, to online travel agencies, to corporate travel management companies to offline travel agencies and more. The market opportunity is huge, and at EPS we believe that innovation and a phenomenal team culture are key to continuing to grow our business and delight our partners.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling EPS’s relationships with our Technology Platforms. You will mainly be focused on servicing our existing APAC Platforms and identify new emerging players into the region.

You will partner with accounts through remote work and face-to-face interaction. The portfolio, comprising approximately 20 accounts, cover several markets across APAC.

You will get to provide leadership to your portfolio of partners, knowing how to optimally navigate the EPS organization and when to involve other teams. You will handle all activity related to your partners and engage and use technology, customer operations, finance, sales support, analytics, and legal teams as necessary. Partnering closely with the business development & account management, you will ensure our Platforms are successfully optimized and onboarded so they can help our partners in the region to succeed.  

What you'll do:

  • Leading a portfolio of around 20 Platforms in the APAC region
  • You will help our team to implement business strategies and the position of EPS as Platform of choice
  • Accurately diagnose known and unknown partner business needs and you will collaborate with other teams like Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Finance, Supply and Site Optimization
  • Renegotiate and renew contracts with partners to develop mutually beneficial deals for both Expedia and the partner
  • Identify New Platforms in the region, onboard and sign them.
  • Identify best practices and proactively share them with platform partners and colleagues
  • Form strong business relationships remotely (via phone, Zoom, email) and face to face. Some travel will be required (~20% of your time)

Who you are:

  • Highly fluent in English, ideally fluent in another Asiatic language (Hindi or Chinese)
  • Confirmed experience in the Travel industry in Sales & Tech roles in a B2B environment
  • Proven and confirmed experience working with Third Party Technology Providers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work and maintain relationship with exiting partners but also open doors with potential new partners   
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment
  • Excellent negotiation skills, and you can build strong long term strategic commercial relationships, formalized in enduring contractual agreements. The ability to navigate board level management and understand the political pressures of an organization to get to a positive decision is key to success
  • Great analytical, numerical and problems solving skills with ability to learn quickly
