Sr. Analyst, Strategic Payment Partnerships

Expedia Global Payments (EGP) is a highly visible team that enables streamlined, secure, and efficient payment experiences for our travelers and partners. To do this, we provide a broad range of payment solutions, including all major credit cards, debit cards, and a portfolio of alternative payment methods.

The Senior Analyst will play a meaningful role on the EGP team and will assess opportunities with our consumer-facing strategic payment partners, which include the card networks, major card issuers, and BNPL providers.

What you will do roles & responsibilities:

  • Produce insights and analysis to improve payment partner performance

  • Apply technical skills to extract data from various sources and provide clear output for decision-making

  • Draw out key business insights and provide practical data-driven recommendations

  • Structure findings and insights via presentations and meetings to facilitate informed decision-making for the leadership team

  • Maintain documentation on reports, processes, and queries to drive consistency in data sources, metrics, and standard methodologies

Who you are:

  • You have 2-4 years of work experience in a hands-on analytical or financial role

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills; able to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers and business partners

  • Dedicated, high-energy, creative, self-starter who has an excellent drive for results

  • Exhibit energy and passion as a problem solver with the confirmed ability to make independent decisions

  • Naturally curious; someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions

Proficiencies:

  • Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Experience with SQL and Tableau is a plus

  • Experienced in data validation methodologies, report building & presentation development

  • Strong problem-solving abilities

  • Strong influencing skills to bring others along

  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision and to address issues without formal authority

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, such as Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or Economics or equivalent related professional experience

  • Experience working within the payment function of a large e-commerce merchant is a strong plus
