Senior Strategy Manager

We are in search of a Senior Manager, Strategy to join our team and help us disrupt the travel insurance industry taking cues from finance, insurance, tech, and other industries. We want a strategic and organized self-starter to play a pivotal role in driving the strategy of the InsurTech (LOB). Your understanding of our travelers and the business value drivers will accelerate performance by identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing opportunities. Your efforts will fuel growth and generate improved profits.
What you’ll do:
Be the conduit between EG strategy and InsurTech balancing corporate and LOB growth
Partner with product, engineering, and other teams to drive industry disruption
Actively identify sources of performance improvement
Explore and implement new business opportunities for InsurTech platform in the Expedia Group portfolio
Continuously build and share knowledge of industry developments and practices across Insurance, travel, technology, and platform domains
Who you are:
Master’s in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent related professional experience
Management consulting experience is strongly desired
Prior experience in a technology business desired
Demonstrated critical thinker and creative problem solver with a proven track record to see the "big picture" while being detail oriented
Analytically inclined and have outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
Driven to deliver results through matrixed, complex, cross-functional teams
Excellent communicator, influencer, and relationship builder
Strong executive presence and comfortable work closely with senior management
Thrive in collaborative environments and can work independently
A person who continuously learns and improve
Motivated and demonstrate maximum integrity crafting an inclusive environment
Comfortable with high pressure situations and ambiguity
Have a bias to action with a voracious get-it-done attitude
Comfortable discussing technical concepts and addressing trade-offs
