Senior Analyst, Growth Marketing Strategy and Business Intelligence

Are you passionate about travel? Do you want to impact projects in digital marketing through data analyses? We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Growth Marketing Strategy & Business Intelligence team!

As part of the Marketing Channels & Technology organization, Metasearch is a dynamic and competitive auction-based performance channel, acquiring traffic from price comparison websites such as Google Hotel Ads, Trivago, and TripAdvisor.

The candidate will be responsible for running in-depth analysis and creating Business Intelligence tools to uncover opportunities for performance optimization and to support cross-functional marketing initiatives. This role can be based out of our Seattle, Austin, or London office.

What you’ll do:

  • Run data analyses on Metasearch to understand business drivers, optimize performance, and support leadership decisions
  • Provide insights and recommendations for campaign performance and spend optimization decisions
  • Drive end-to-end initiatives aiming at optimizing performance on specific segments of traffic
  • Support capital allocation process and build business cases to support investment decisions
  • Develop and maintain Business Intelligence products to monitor metrics, facilitate decision-making and support strategic goal tracking
  • Work closely with analytics and data engineering teams to continuously improve data quality and spot anomalies

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s/Master's in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or any other related analytical field
  • 3+ years’ experience in data-driven commercial environment
  • Advanced Excel and SQL; knowledge of Python a plus
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software desired
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: must be very comfortable with working with large data sets and using data to make decisions
  • Outstanding attention to detail in carrying out time-sensitive projects
  • Good communication skills, able to present to diverse audiences and develop productive relationships with peers
  • Knowledge, passion, and experience of travel industry is a plus!
