Director - Marketplace and Yield Product Strategy

In this role, you will bring experience in working across interdisciplinary teams and leading strategy design to solve travel problems with technology. The role supports the Expedia Group’s shared Partner Tools, Yield Management, Content, Marketplace Design, and Distribution product and tech teams in setting commercial and strategic objectives, synthesizing competitive and industry trends, shaping roadmaps, and driving implementation.

We are looking for an effective relationship builder to challenge and lead colleagues across our Product, Technology, Marketing, Account Management, Finance, Legal, and People teams to deliver the best partner and customer outcomes.
What you'll do:
Help craft the Partner Tools, Yield Management, Content, Marketplace Design, Distribution product and tech strategy including annual planning, roadmap prioritization, business casing, and resource allocation using data, imagination, and insights into customer and partner needs
Lead strategic projects and investigations to drive the business forward (e.g., how might we leverage our existing lodging or air technology to power new product lines)
Benchmark competitor capabilities
Establish strong working relationships with key internal and external partners
Frame strategic tradeoffs for leaders across Expedia Group, while considering inputs and needs from a wide range of experts
Lead and develop a small team of strategy analysts
Who you are:
5+ years in a mix of consulting, product management, and/or corporate strategy; MBA from a top-tier program preferred
Excellent quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills
Collaborative leader who builds performing teams and constructive working environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate issues and influence others internally and externally
Passion for solving problems with technology
