Senior HR Operations - 6 Months FTC (with the possibility to extend)

Expedia Group are hiring a Senior HR Coordinator to be based in our Prague office. You’d join our international EMEA HR Operations team and be responsible for carrying out HR administrative activities remotely for  France, Middle East and Africa. You will support the local HR teams in providing customer-focused comprehensive HR advice and support to employees consistent with HR policies, procedures and legal requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Be our employee champion and provide 1st line support to our employees for their HR related queries
  • Accompany our employees in France & MEA offices through their entire Expedia Group lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, guaranteeing an amazing employee journey
  • Issuing, administering and managing a variety of administrative tasks and documents such as employment contracts, new hire documents, local benefits enrolment, verifications of employment, visa letters, amendment letters, time & attendance, leaving confirmations etc.
  • Maintain and update employee folders and HR records management system (Workday) and interface data with the payroll team to ensure all employees are paid correctly
  • Create and improve user guides and process documentations to optimize how we support our employees
  • Support ongoing project work and monitor metrics to assess HR Operations volume and service levels to make sure we keep getting better

Who you are:

You’ll fit this role if you have:

  • Experience gained in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, ideally with a focus on administrative work and/or customer experience; previous HR experience is must
  • A degree in HR ideally
  • Understanding of HR processes (e.g. onboarding) and a desire to build a career in HR
  • Fluency in English; other language (such as French) is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high customer-orientation and the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • A can-do attitude, dedication and professionalism
  • Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite; prior experience with a Content Management System is a plus
