Director, People Leader Excellence
This is an incredible opportunity to fuel the power of People Leaders across Expedia Group. Our People Leaders are global, multi-disciplinary, diverse and have the power to elevate and engage our employees in outstanding and creative ways. We are looking for a creative, out of the box problem-solver who can reinvent the role of the people leader, establish a framework and determine ways to engage and champion this community.
This role serves these leaders by reimagining every aspect of their experience in partnership with the Centers of Expertise (COEs) with the aim of helping them be the best leaders they can ever be. This will be the fulcrum point in how our People Leaders elevate the key moments that matter for employees operating across the various partners. The role will be ‘the glue’ for People Leaders around products and processes and making the experience more integrated.
Define the ambition for the role of a People Leader at Expedia Group
Identify key experiences where we want People Leaders to play a pivotal role
Partner with People Analytics to develop an understanding of the various segments of People Leaders at EG, mapping out their similarities and differences
Create experience journeys across different segments
Work closely with COE communities (build an annual engagement map with People Leaders)
Define People Leader development holistically
Identify and enable People leaders with resources to be immediately productive
Liaison actively with internal partners (People Tech, IT, Learning, Recruiting) to champion process improvement and elevate the employee experience
Remove processes and mechanisms where People Leaders do not contribute
Proven experience in consulting, change management, people development, HR in a fast paced, contemporary environment
5+ years working as a manager of a team (global preferred)
Consistent track record of leading enterprise wide, transformational and multi-disciplinary change initiatives
Imaginative, passionate and curious about improving People Leader experience
Skilled project manager and effective at orchestrating input across multiple stakeholders
Strong bias to action
Proven ability to collaborate and influence across multiple partner groups (technical and non-technical)
