Manager, Pricing Strategy

The New Partner Solutions team within Expedia for Businessesis responsible for identifying new products, services, and capabilities to bring to our partners, incubating and accelerating high potential opportunities, and setting winning go-to-market models for new offerings. We are hiring for a Manager of Pricing Strategy for this team!

What you'll do: 

  • Drive new ideas: around monetization approaches for new products and solutions that reflect the value being received by the partners 

  • Uncover new monetization opportunities: evaluate and develop plans to drive partner engagement for pilot/early adopter commercial models and financial outcomes 

  • Develop innovative pricing structuresategies: on new products that drive financial improvement and downstream impact across the entire EG platform ecosystem. 

  • Multi-functional alignment: work across EG teams and collaborate with relevant cross-functional teams to drive toward scalable and success product launchessuccessful product launches 

  • EPS go to market process: Assess complex new business commercial models and support partner negotiation process on monetization methods as part of the incubation and accelerate go to market processes. 

What you bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required and MBA (or equivalent advanced degree) preferred 

  • Proven track record developing and implementing new pricing strategies, supporting new business GTM opportunities, and delivering financial results for B2B solutions 

  • Experience driving commercial models with a bias toward analytics  

  • Excellent analytical skills, including data and financial analysis, quantitative and qualitative research, and statistics skills 

  • Experience in building pricing models from the bottom up quickly and with little previous framework 

  • Proven track-record working with various cross-functional internal and external groups to deliver meaningful results  

  • Experience pricing SaaS solutions, technology solutions, and/or data products preferred  

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (externally and internally at all levels) and demonstrated ability to work across and influence a large, complex, highly matrixed organization 

  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and demonstrated experience in modeling, analysis, research, and presentation creation
