We are seeking a hardworking operations Supervisor with a background in eCommerce risk or technology to manage a team of analysts dedicated to protecting our partners, customers, and our business from unauthorized account access and fraudulent behavior.
As a supervisor you will ensure the smooth daily operation of the team in coordination with your peers around the world. You will drive performance towards key departmental objectives and periodically represent our team in forums spanning across Expedia Group.
This role requires flexibility in adapting your approach as circumstances change. As Fraud never stops, neither do we. We are a 24 x 7 Operations team and scheduling flexibility is needed in this role. Our team values diverse strengths and recognizes the importance of individual contributions. What you’ll do:
You will supervise day to day operational performance of your team, ensuring metrics are achieved, goals are met, and critical issues are prioritized
You will organize the hiring, onboarding, training, and development of new analysts and provide effective on-going coaching and development of your team
Help maintain standard reporting metrics and provide insight into operational non-standard reporting and metrics as required
You may participate in multi-functional initiatives to develop solutions to mitigate impacts to our customers and supply partners
Identify process and tool improvements within the account and supplier risk space
Collaborate across Operations, Operations Data and Analysis, Technology, Product, Brands, and Program Management
You are responsible for executing on operational excellence programs to drive performance improvements in prevention efforts
Recognize and assist in troubleshooting technical problems causing work stoppages, ensuring efficient resolution
May participate with internal Product and Program teams to assist in risk assessment of new businesses, products, and points of sale

Who you are:
Experience working in a risk or security operations environment; leadership background is desirable
Ability to balance multiple tasks with daily operations oversight simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a complicated environment
Superb verbal and written communication and organizational skills allowing you to fluidly move between technical and business groups
Proven capacity for analytical thought, and able to extract meaningful insights from data
Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers and business partners
Proven capacity to work with ambiguous and sophisticated situations that do not necessarily have a prescribed resolution
Ambitious and able to work well with frequently shifting priorities
Solid understanding of account security, payment fraud, fraud prevention techniques, and enthusiasm for protecting customer data
