Senior Manager, Growth Marketing Strategy and Business Intelligence
Are you passionate about travel and do you want to drive impactful initiatives in the marketing space? We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Growth Marketing Strategy & Business Intelligence team!
As part of the Growth Marketing organization, Metasearch is a dynamic and competitive auction-based performance channel, acquiring traffic from price comparison websites such as Google Hotel Ads, Trivago and TripAdvisor.
Candidate will be responsible for the capital allocation pillar, which seeks at understanding the efficient level of investment for each Metasearch partner, Expedia brand and geography to improve Expedia Group long-term value. This is a highly visible role and will work closely with Campaign Management, Finance, Analytics and Data Science teams. This role can be based out of our Seattle, Austin, or London office.
What you’ll do:
Build the vision of Metasearch capital allocation space, defining roadmaps, goals, and initiatives to achieve it
Support the leadership in setting overall Metasearch strategy and goals
Define marketing approach and investment level by geography, according to Expedia brand strategy
Own investment ask process: building business cases, driving leadership consensus, implementing, and measuring the impact
Improve our auction presence by incorporating innovative ways to target setting and bidding, such as elasticity and cross-brand coordination
Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics on building predictive models to optimize our ROAS and defining testing roadmap
Drive cross-channel strategic projects and represent Metasearch in broader marketing forums
Who you are:
Bachelor’s/Master's in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or any other related analytical field; or equivalent related professional experience
6+ years’ experience in a fast-paced commercial environment (investment banking, eCommerce, technology); Digital Marketing or Consulting a plus
Able to drive sophisticated projects across teams with multifaceted strengths and changing timelines
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, capable of achieving consensus across functional areas and all levels of management
Excellent analytical skills, confident analyzing large data sets to spot opportunities and influence decision-making
Self-starter, proactive, and willing to push boundaries
