Expedia Group is looking for a Content Manager to join the Knowledge Management team in the Expedia for Business group.
We craft, curate, and maintain strategic user-focused help and knowledge content, enabling partners and internal teams to self-serve.
In this role, you'll be a writer, strategist, and inspiring role model in a team of content creators, content designers, and program managers.
On our team, we use our expertise to find content opportunities across a content ecosystem, identifying key gaps and themes. Your content solutions will serve user groups of all abilities, experiences, and geographies.
What you’ll do:
Lead a small team of Writers, helping others to learn and grow as content strategists
Write, curate, maintain, and optimize web help, knowledge base, and email template content, adhering to guidelines for style, voice, and tone
Define data-informed user scenarios, building robust content plans to address user needs
Act as a team ambassador, advocating for our users and crafting solutions with our vision, mission, and strategy in mind
Share content performance data with business partners and advocate for user-centric solutions
Work with people of all levels across the company to collaborate, share, and lead with content strategy
Develop relationships and models for connecting information across functions, including marketing, communications, product, engineering, and support groups
Who you are:
Proven experience crafting effective content for products, help websites, knowledge bases, or other channels
Mentor for others on thinking strategically about content, with strong experience leading through influence and relationships
Able to transform large sets of information into concise, eloquent, user-centric content solutions informed by user research, content strategy principles, and UX standard methodologies
Problem solver who uses a design-first approach to develop innovative content solutions that improve relevant content metrics
Experienced in defining and executing content solutions for multiple user groups across organizations
