Sales Support Specialist
Do you have an analytical mind? Are you passionate about Media and Advertising? Expedia is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our Lodging Sales Operations Team.
TravelAds is a sponsored listing advertising program, that puts hotels in front of one of the largest online travel audiences in the world. We are looking for the right person to join this new function at its inception to help accelerate growth of this successful program.
The role of the Sales Support Specialist is to improve and support Expedia Media Solutions TravelAds sales team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a travel, ecommerce and an advertising sales organization.
You will work with clients and cross-functional teams to address problems, lead campaign implementation, including launching campaign, monitoring, optimizing and performance reporting.

Build relationships with the sales team and their client-base by developing a deep understanding of the business needs and specific client strategies and objectives
Be a specialist in all day-to-day planning and support request types for the regional Sales team and an expert in TravelAds products and reports
Provide excellent client support for the Sales team and their hotel partners
Assist with the management of day-to-day campaign implementation, including launching campaign, monitoring, optimizing and performance reporting
Evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on client issues
Develop and maintain positive collaborative relationships with internal teams throughout the Media Solutions, as well as external partners. Interact daily with various teams globally
Assist in finance and invoicing related tasks for clients
Actively keep abreast of advertising products and services, market trends and the competitive landscape via internal meetings and external industry events
Manage and complete day-to-day requests via the Sales Support queue in a timely manner and while adhering to agreed deadlines
Develop a deep understanding of the business needs of the team, including operational pressures and challenges, and the specific strategies and objectives of the partners
Experience in an ecommerce, digital media or online advertising industry preferred
Experience within a client facing environment
Experience with Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, etc
Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a positive, solution focused attitude
Motivation to deliver outstanding client service through ownership, accountability and active listening
Analytical thinker, motivated by problem-solving and creating solutions for partners
Demonstrated ability to balance multiple requests simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and lead multiple client needs against tight deadlines and heavy workload
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to quickly adapt and maintain flexibility in a rapidly changing digital media landscape
Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully in a fast-paced team environment
