Partner Success Associate Account Manager, VRBO

Are you passionate about travel and helping partners to drive improvements? Vrbo, an Expedia Group brand, are seeking a passionate Account Manager to promote and develop a high level of engagement with Vrbo’s Property Managers!

This is an outstanding opportunity to work collaboratively with partners to improve their productivity and results from participating in Vrbo’s marketplace- ultimately, helping to grow their listings and net booking value. You'll work to maximize the production potential in the Vrbo marketplace by utilizing and sharing unique data insights, marketing, distribution, and revenue management tools with Partners. In this role, you will develop a high level of engagement with Vrbo’s Property Managers through relationship-based account management. By utilizing and sharing unique data insights, marketing, distribution, and revenue management tools with our Partners, you will work together to drive overall bookings conversion and booking value in the Vrbo marketplace

What you’ll do:

  • Communicate daily with portfolio of property managers and act as their primary point of contact

  • Deliver high-quality and high quantity of conversations with partners to achieve and exceed growth targets

  • Analyze and prioritize partner outreach and develop a contact strategy to achieve healthy contact activity

  • Execute effectively against all targets, goals and strategic objectives set by leadership

  • Manage listing retention and grow supply, especially within high demand and compression periods to match traveler demand

  • Establish performance goals with partners, develop action plans, secure commitment, and set mutual performance objectives and goals

  • Provide competitive analysis, market insights, on site performance data, content reviews, and revenue strategies to improve booking performance

  • Drive education around content, rates and availability, and product features to enhance listing quality and maximize booking conversion

  • Become familiar with key demand and supply indicators, economic data, trends, and competitive information within the designated strategic markets within your portfolio

  • Gather feedback from partners regarding product enhancements and processes that inhibit performance, to share internally to improve the overall marketplace

  • Deliver presentations, attend industry events, and build the company profile in market as needed

Who you are:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related professional experience

  • 3+ years of experience in customer success, account management, ecommerce, software consulting, or sales

  • Experience driving adoption and retention in an e-commerce marketplace or SaaS business

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Tableau

  • Knowledge of the vacation rental and hospitality industry is a plus

  • Communication: you have an adaptive communication style, are naturally curious, can handle complicated conversations, and resolve conflict

  • Relationship Management: as a trusted advisor, you ensure partner happiness, identify growth opportunities from partner needs, and effectively collaborate to develop solutions; you build rapport quickly and you can diffuse difficult situations even more quickly

  • Partner Advocacy: you anticipate Partner needs and champion these needs internally by creating solutions that bring value for both Vrbo and Partners; you have a strong bias-to-action and will work with teams internally until issues are fully resolved

  • Planning and Quality Delivery: you prioritize and manage tasks with minimal assistance and direction, consistently achieve all team commitments and goals, and demonstrate willingness to take on additional tasks as needed

  • Data Driven: you confidently present relevant analysis and partner specific insights and you turn these insights into real growth and improvement opportunities for your partners

  • Expertise Development: you are constantly improving your expertise in all Vrbo offerings, VR and travel, and current trends in e-commerce

  • Continuous Improvement and Agility: you adapt and execute on changes quickly, seek feedback to refine strategy and improve outcomes

  • Collaborative Partnership: proactively join cross-team improvement programs and establish networks of support
