Strategic Account Coordinator

Egencia is looking for a Strategic Account Coordinator who will be dedicated to a Strategic Global Account!

In this role you will support and be responsible for developing multifaceted relationships both internally and externally to provide support and solutions for the client and its travel needs in the regions of Europe and Asia.

This position requires client facing project management, technical expertise, organizational, and problem-solving skills as well as a keen attention to detail. You will work across multiple teams and points of sale within Egencia including Sales, Implementations, Account Management, and Customer Service to drive global consistency and standardization.

What You'll Do:

  • Implement and manage changes requested by Customer including profile system updates, policy changes, traveler messages loading, changes related to negotiated air, car, hotel and rail contracts

  • Manage customer Travel Service Desk and respond to questions, resolve issues and escalate where necessary to the customer travel team

  • You will implement and lead account standards across multiple points of sale in Europe and Asia to support global client needs, while working with the Regional teams to support local relationships and requirements

  • Interact and build a strong, positive rapport with the Account Management team, the Global Customer Operations team and the client

  • You will be maintaining project work including the project plan, schedule, status reports, and any other documentation related to the management and administration of the project

  • Consulting with Customer to establish and maintain its corporate travel policy, monitor policy compliance, and determine any required adjustments to travel policy and online booking websites

  • Support the creation of asset for travel end users to provide program education and drive policy compliance

  • Onboard new users and facilitate recurrent refreshers to travel end users

  • Act as a client advocate within the company, including representing client issues to upper management, customer service, technical support, and product development

  • Single point of contact for Customer preferred supplier updates and critical issues

  • Testing of Customer policy and negotiated contracts as required

  • Support preparation and coordination work for the launch of new markets in Europe and Asia

  • Technical configuration liaison for new entities setup and maintenance

Who You Are:

  • Strong customer service skills in a fast-paced environment

  • Validated technical experience working with an Online Travel Tool or Agency

  • Experience working in a global travel environment

  • Tech-savvy with ability to communicate technical product features effectively and enthusiastically

  • Project and Time Management – Shown success handling multi-faceted, time critical projects

  • Solid skills in facilitation, written documentation, status reporting, mediation, training, and presentations

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
