Digital Designer

Expedia for Business is seeking a gifted Integrated/Digital Designer. Our team is responsible for developing relationships with hotels and other supply lines-of-business including other lodging properties, air, car and cruise worldwide and supporting their ongoing success on the Expedia Group travel platform.  

Reporting to the Senior Integrated Designer; the Integrated Designer will have a successful track record creating design solutions that deliver high impact across digital and offline assets with the focus on bringing our internal communications strategy to life visually as well as partner-facing communications.  

Design work will include developing townhall, briefing and strategy decks, and infographics. This role will also develop assets such as articles and newsletters as well as designing email, landing pages, websites, social messaging, white papers, and more. This role will drive best practice of Expedia Group’s brand expression and visual identity across all assets

This is a great opportunity to support a focused, multi-national marketing team for the leading travel and technology company. Working in a fast-paced environment and delivering projects to tight deadlines and enjoy the variety of turning around smaller design tasks in addition to larger more complex initiatives.

What you'll do:

  • Ideate and design engaging scalable content across all channels, including digital assets, case studies, blogs, video, whitepapers, business presentations, infographics and events/trade shows 

  • Visualising content to support on preparatory materials for spokespeople such as presentations

  • Identify and initiate improvements to the design and execution of graphics material that’s on-brand

  • Pilot alternative and creative ways to deliver the best engagement from our audience through good design and best practices

  • Work with external agencies and freelancers to deliver creatives that is on brand, in budget and on schedule

Who you are:

  •  An expert in Adobe Creative Suite and some knowledge of presentation software (PowerPoint, Keynote) as well as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

  • Knowledge of HTML, Figma, Sketch, Axure/Invision and CSS3 knowledge

  • Creative conceptual thinker, the ability to understand written material and transform in graphical creative way

  • A good understanding of UX/UI design, wireframes and the user experience

  • A great graphic designer(layout/composition), good eye for design and typographer with a fantastic online/offline portfolio

  • Experience in animation, video production and apps, while not essential, would be a benefit 

  • In depth digital design capabilities

  • The ability to work effectively under deadline and manage multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Impeccable organizational skills and the ability to think on your feet and use your initiative

  • Strong interpersonal skills required to network and build relationships within Expedia Group 

  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude

  • Experienced creative professional, with extensive experience of creating creative and impactful designs for a range of audiences 

  • Proven global operator, working with an extremely diverse range of stakeholders and audiences, including influencing and presenting to senior stakeholders

  • 4+ years’ experience preferably in the digital sector

  •  Background in travel or ecommerce industries preferred 

  • Ability to travel for business when required

  • Supply an up-to-date online portfolio
