We are an 80+ person team of Android/iOS Engineers, Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Designers, TPMs, and Analysts spread across 3 locations globally (San Francisco, Chicago, and Gurgaon). We focus on ensuring that the Expedia app is the perfect companion for travelers looking to discover, book & manage their travel. We provide a differentiated experience to our customers by using the native capabilities of the platforms & seamlessly powering our app with cutting-edge design & data systems used by Expedia. You will collaborate with team members, particularly design counterparts, to co-develop and solve problems.

Bachelor's degree in a related Technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience.
An established performer who consistently applies software engineering principles to business contexts.
You have led small, well-defined projects or features and continue as a supporting player on complex projects.
You proactively identify inefficiencies in existing systems.
You have 2+ years of experience of software development in a team environment of at least 5 engineers (agile, version control, etc.).
Experience developing one or more iOS apps using Swift programming language, ideally, currently available on App Store.
Solid coding skills. Understanding of clean code, asynchronous programming, unit tests, and auto-layout.
Demonstrates strength in swift programming language, moderate familiarity in other applicable language i.e. objective C.
Demonstrates familiarity with UI framework and state management patterns and practices.
Demonstrates familiarity with associated technologies within their specialization as part of the wider ecosystem.
Demonstrates familiarity with how to make individual components and application sections accessible.
Understands how projects fit together within their team.
Understands moderately complex systems.
Experience testing and monitoring your own code.
Understands testing and monitoring tools.
Experienced debugging applications.
Creates effective automation and unit tests.
Understands how team goals fit a business need.
