Manager, AMER Consulting

Reporting to the Head of Associate Client services, you will lead the consulting AMER business for Egencia and will manage an experienced team of AMER Consulting Managers. Your team supervises consulting clients with global footprint, are involved in the full range of consulting projects to guide our clients on how to more strategically optimize travel spend, providing impactful recommendations and working with internal and external partners to implement our recommendation. Your objective is also to support and develop your team in reaching these objectives.
 

This position requires a customer centric approach with confirmed skills in leadership, client management, negotiations and sales with the ability to understand sophisticated systems and processes. It requires analytical skills as well as effective communication and strong understanding of how market trends may potentially affect business needs and travel solutions.


What you'll do:

  • Support Egencia consulting strategy internally and externally by leading the activities and performance of your team

  • Provide mentorship to your team to deliver with high standard quality and strategic level

  • Ensure your team projects are delivery in due time, with high quality and strong client added value

  • Supervise team client projects and be the point of escalation for clients

  • Ensure clients satisfaction, identify and anticipate any potential area of improvement

  • Develop partnership between you team and Account Management

  • Work yourself closely with Account Management teams at all level

  • Be responsible for your team's client portfolio, renewals and upsell

  • Hire, onboard, develop and retain talents

  • Allocate resource to clients projects as well as internal ones and anticipate planning through the year

  • Support team members their personal development

  • Bring innovation mentality in your team, within consulting and the broader organization

  • Collaborate with other managers from consulting to share standard methodologies, improvement needs identified, market trends and supplier updates on AMER, scalability processes suggested, additional value to bring to client

  • Propose any identify innovation that would benefit our department or organization

  • Support consulting sales for your region and work closely with regional sales teams

  • Participate in any initiative as agreed with management


Who you are:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent with a confirmed experience of client management in leisure or business travel industries and/or travel consulting experience

  • Confirmed experience in leading and developing a high skilled team

  • Expertise of leading projects for clients

  • A self-motivated with strategic attitude, a validated ability to challenge the status quo and proactively put forth solutions/ideas

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver clear, concise and structured supports

  • Ability to synthesize complex information, to use data to develop and drive strategies

  • Ability to engage and interact across all levels within the organization, influence business partners, using strong active listening strength and strategies to advise and influence partners

  • Effective communicator, with both written and oral presentations

  • Validated problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mentality

  • Demonstrated a strong passion to work in a fast path environment and in cross-cultural teams

  • Well-developed knowledge of business

  • Proficient in all Microsoft suite and specifically in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Fluent in English
