Senior Product Manager - Trips Recommendations

As a Senior Product Manager on the Trips team you will understand and help customers build and take their trip, by providing personalized recommendations that will enable them to plan their perfect trip. The solutions you design and implement will help the customer by getting the most out of their trip and will unlock value by driving customer engagement.

What you’ll do:
Manage the vision, strategy and backlog for Trip Recommendations and balance new features, bugs and tech debt
Translate insights into action within the team
Use frameworks to connect partners and leadership on product feature decisions. You will have a point of view and recommended approach to hear and incorporate feedback
Lead with user perspective, rooted from the Human Centered Design approach, to make product prioritization decisions
Identify potential trade-offs taking into account a variety of factors (product design, marketing, operational considerations, etc.)
Plan, facilitate development, release and measure product feature and/or products cross functionally. You will serve as the go-to person for partners including engineering, design, content, for questions, clarifications and direction
Apply feedback and data from measurements towards product improvements through test and learns and other testing methodologies to positively impact the business (i.e., cost savings, revenue, conversion, etc.)
Communicate a compelling rationale and narrative to peers and partners
Lead discovery across multiple partners to develop understanding of a shared problem, makes suggestions for solutions and recommends which solutions will achieve the best customer or business outcome
Mentor and coach product managers, and team members
Who you are:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
Holds an understanding of the fundamentals of these core Product Management skills: Product Vision and Strategy, Agile Practices, decision making, prioritization/backlog creation, communication, scientific method, discernment, influence and risk taking
Has a solid understanding of decision-making frameworks and can develop advanced frameworks to test hypotheses
8+ years in managing product management
