We are seeking a dynamic, organized leader to drive Expedia Group’s mobile app acquisition and engagement efforts across all our consumer brands. We want you to bring your analytical horsepower, operational excellence and innovation to exceed our growth ambitions and continue to shape our mobile app growth strategy.

Reporting to our Global Head of Mobile Apps and Paid Social Marketing, this is a leadership role with tremendous organizational exposure with senior leaders within the company. You will partner with Product, Marketing and Engineering teams to set up growth agendas and deliver results. You will provide in-person updates to senior executives on channel and platform performance, demonstrating a high return on our acquisition efforts and providing guidance on future growth opportunities.

What you'll do

  • Setting up Expedia Group’s mobile acquisition and engagement strategy and ensuring its successful delivery as validated by results

  • Maintain a high attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize multiple, contending priorities simultaneously

  • Utilize data to inform and build solid investment rationales to present internally with limited guidance

  • Design, lead and implement key global initiatives to drive mobile apps' growth based on the incremental economic value they deliver

  • Identify and problem-solve to enable the team to meet strategic, financial and technical goals

  • You need to coach, mentor, hire and retain outstanding marketers to achieve the organization’s vision

  • Act as a mobile app advocate, thought leader and advisor across the organization to support our mobile apps strategy

  • You have passionately high standards, exhibit excellent judgment and expect and require innovation of your team

  • Experience in successfully leading multiple markets

  • You get to draw on analytical and quantitative skills, using hard data, apply data mining techniques as needed to extract insights to see beyond the numbers and identify patterns to diagnose cause

What you bring

  • Excellent critical thinking and strong commercial and operating skills

  • You understand native app ecosystems and performance leading indicators

  • Significant and validated industry experience in running product, commercial or marketing teams, preferably in areas of mobile commerce

  • Experience building and defending data models used for testing strategies and operational execution

  • Experience in eCommerce and Online Travel preferred but not required

  • Confirmed ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, address trade-offs, and evaluate new ideas with partners

  • Shown ability to lead in a matrix environment

  • Strong interpersonal and talent management skills, including identifying and developing talent

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Engineering or Business Administration, MBA or equivalent preferred, plus 10+years with at least 5 leading high performing teams

  • Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills

  • Digital native with an in-depth understanding of eCommerce metrics
