Product Manager II

As part of the Travel Experience Platform Product team, the product manager will be responsible for creating platform capabilities and tooling that enable teams across Expedia Group to create and build and operating outstanding product experiences that are desired by global travelers.
This role will ensure that key components within your products support the needs of developers across EG and will produce outstanding no code experiences for internal and external users to be able to configure and handle the experiences seen by travelers worldwide.
In this collaborative role you will partner with other product teams, Engineering, our Partner Team and Marketing Team to bring this product to market.
What you’ll do:
Understand existing key performance indicators related to your own work and the importance of metrics in defining success (e.g., efficiency and effectiveness)
Break down frameworks to understand key assumptions and identify gaps and/or potential improvements
Use customer insights to develop a set of viable solutions for customer problems and to inform product prioritization decisions with manager direction
Lead a cross functional team (including but not limited to engineers, content strategists, UX) through the product development lifecycle for a single product area to achieve a business goal
Proactively contribute to cross team partnership ensuring the best available information is included in analysis and share findings with peers and leaders
Map which components are impacted by proposed solutions and assist with measuring the effect on desired outcomes
Who you are:
Bachelor's, Master’s, or equivalent experience
Experienced Product manager who is familiar with agile practices, data science principles, the scientific method and reverse engineering
Holds an understanding of the fundamentals of these core Product Management skills including Agile Practices, communication, listening, scientific method, reverse engineering, and discernment
