We are looking for an innovative and experienced Preditor to build compelling digital content for our brands! You will join the global Creative Partnerships team where we help develop and execute brand marketing partnerships across TV, Digital, Mobile and Offline media platforms.
You have the creative and technical skills to produce/edit video projects, and share a passion for travel, as well as the Expedia Group brand as a whole and with an interest to elevate the content we create with strategically packaged, shareable content. This position requires a creative approach, and a developed sense of responsibility and organization. In this newly created role, your responsibility is to help build materials for both internal and external marketing purposes.
You will be directing, crafting and editing premium outstanding content, from assembly, visual storyboarding, through to final delivery and archive. E.g. trailers, sizzle reels, topical/episodic content, brand-led content, long and short-form partner content, BTS, custom shoot creative, etc.
The team has individuals spread across the world that are key in the content that the Producer/Editor will create for CP Motion, so it is important to develop relationships across the timezones.
Assist in developing a scalable content strategy for all social product offerings; ensuring content is on-brand and consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice
Own and optimise initiative prioritisation and project intake process, effectively triaging requests
You understand the competitive landscape and add to the brainstorming and idea generation process. With the ability to review and evaluate Creative Partnerships requests, ensuring accurate process adherence by all partners at all times and estimate costs for ideas campaigns to deliver thought-starters in line with budgets all the while collaborating with other departments to help evolve the businesses creative process.
Responsible for all areas of editing across sound mixing, colour grading, subtitles, re-versioning, with quick turnarounds, using recommended services and subscriptions.
Use stock footage from the available tools within Expedia Group, and other resources where required to create captivating videos.
Help to create, update and develop all graphic assets for video content and maintain the quality control of all final video assets.
Shown experience with creation of video content to support marketing campaigns, editing & grading videos.
Strong understanding of all phases of pre-production, production and post-production.
Experience working with third parties for additional content creation – keeping them to budget, quality and timelines.
Excited to open up the boundaries of what digital video can do in online environments and have strong storytelling sensibility.
Interested in experimenting with new story formats and committed to finding new ways to approach the conventional forms of visual storytelling.
Experienced with periodically producing videos in the field including producing/directing, working with talent and obtaining signed releases and clearances.
Cohesively and efficiently worked within a creative team, collaborate with different departments, and take direction well.
Organized, proactive and highly motivated. Attention to detail in executing sophisticated projects and time-sensitive elements. You are able to build content quickly and to a high standard.
A global approach and multicultural understanding in order to create relatable and diverse content.
At least five years’ experience editing, and/or producing, with at least three of those years specifically passionate about digital.
Excellent knowledge of the video, audio, graphic & post-production process as well as social media technologies and digital platforms.
Experience with travel content and vertical preferable.
Proficient in Adobe Premiere and Mac based work environment. After Effects and Adobe suite a plus to support briefs where necessary.
