Senior Talent Intelligence Program Manager, Executive Recruiting

The Executive Search team delivers all Senior Director, VP, SVP and C-level hiring across all of Expedia Group. This includes all Corporate functions, B2B groups and consumer brands including Expedia, Hotwire, Travelocity,, Vrbo, Orbitz, ebookers, CheapTickets, CarRentals and Wotif. We work closely with Executive leaders across all of these businesses, as well HRBP's, Total Rewards, Talent Management, Global Mobility, Executive Compensation, etc. We are a global team located in the US (Seattle, Dallas, Bay Area), London and India.

What you'll do:

  • Provide Market and Talent Intelligence that will enable our Leaders, HRBPs, and Talent Management partners to think proactively about future leadership talent needs and investment

  • Continue to shift the mindset of reactive hiring to more proactive leadership talent connects

  • Drive the identification of executive talent for active roles as well as future needs

  • Recommend priority target company ecosystem through market research

  • Map the sector outperformer companies in a way that is leverageable for future projects

  • Engage with external market, as appropriate, to gain candidate and market insights

  • Prepare external market insights, materials, and presentations

  • Act as an ecosystem expert in the markets/verticals researched

  • Develop networks of people within industries, geographies and functional areas

  • Look for opportunities to share expertise and best practices with Search Partners, HRBP’s, Talent Management, Hiring Managers and Executives

  • Monitor, track and record relevant market developments in segments and geographies including people moves and company updates

  • Key talent identification for VP/SVP pipelining

  • Report on market trends, hiring patterns, talent flows, and mergers/re-orgs

  • Prospective candidates to introduce to EG leadership based on research

  • Notable movers and shakers from a company/industry perspective and a view on why they are worth considering and what they have done previously (impact made)

Who you are:

  • Must be proficient and experienced with B2B and consumer technology and/or eCommerce business

  • 7-10 years of experience in market research, executive recruiting and/or management consulting

  • Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment, with a strong bias for action

  • Be self-directed and able to move forward in a somewhat ambiguous environment
