Associate Digital Video Buyer

Are you from a media background and are data driven, analytical, and if you have an appetite to learn the constantly evolving media landscape, from within a highly dynamic client-side team? Expedia Group are seeking a hardworking, driven, and creative Associate Digital Video Buyer to join our global in-house media team

You will play an integral role in the maintenance of the account (Expedia Group Brands and their Media Partners) from start to post completion. Working closely with our buyers and media owners, you'll aid in the execution and maintenance of media placements and help us drive continual improvements in our brands growth and operational efficiencies

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in maintaining account from start to post completion

  • Work closely with Digital Video Manager and own responsibility for accuracy of our digital video buys across FEP, BVOD, OTT & CTV platforms

  • Effectively manage Expedia Group brand’s media investments and partners, with an initial emphasis on digital video

  • Acquire and build media plans from networks/media owners to perform daily maintenance of account including network program changes, pre-emptions and weekly inventory moves

  • Effectively manage media schedules, reconciliation, and make-good activity

  • Maintain daily pacing to ensure full delivery

  • Work with analytics teams on measurement and performance analysis

  • Develop pre and post-campaign summary materials

  • Assist Digital Video Manager with inputting plan details into the planning system and issuing insertion orders to partners

  • Traffic campaigns and troubleshoot tag issues with partners

  • Review monthly delivery data from partners while ensuring accuracy and work closely with the Accounting/Finance teams with regards to billing

  • Serve as market specialist, providing insight to marketplace conditions and opportunities in digital video

Who You Are:

  • Eager to learn the media industry

  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with vendors

  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to ambiguous environments

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with high levels of autonomy

  • Someone who is well organized, detail oriented, and proactive in delivering projects

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related professional experience

  • Experience of working within a DSP (DV360 preferred)

  • Basic knowledge of ad serving and trafficking digital campaigns

  • Understanding of digital campaign testing – PSA testing, incrementality, geo testing, etc.

  • Minimum 2 years in prior digital media planning/buying role (media agency experience is a plus)

  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office in Excel and PowerPoint
