As a key member of our Business Partnering Finance team, this role is responsible for seeking out opportunities to drive profitability improvements to the Egencia P&L. This role is a crucial partner across the broader organizations including Product & Technology, Pricing & Offering, Salesforce, & Customer Success central functions.
This role requires strong commercial acumen, creative problem solving, the ability to work independently and to tight deadlines. Excel based business modeling skills along with communication skills suitable to explain complex issues to senior non-finance business leaders, as well as navigating a complex matrix organization while seeking to drive for profitable business strategy evolution and working closely with key stakeholders to drive positive and measurable change.
Business partnering with key leaders across key matrix functions (Pricing, Product, Technology, Salesforce, & Commercial)
Help optimize pricing for new strategic offerings working in close partnership with leaders from Sales, Marketing and Product
Support evolution of Egencia deal appraisal
Support evolution of Egencia deal appraisal process currently based on complex excel modelling, then project managing migration to Salesforce ‘configure-price-quote’ tool
Objectively analyze and challenge gaps on deal profitability performance versus expectation
Provision of ad-hoc analysis, assisting in key projects and business support when required
Support quarterly forecasting and annual strategic planning processes
You have strong, demonstrated finance experience in consulting / accounting / tech / corporate finance / FP&A
BS/BA or MS/MA in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or any similar discipline (a plus if you are a Qualified accountant (CPA/CIMA), MBA, or similar accreditation)
Eye For Business. Knowledge of functional elements which are important for business profitability in order to influence, drive and positively impact business result
High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including advanced Excel and experience working with BI tools (Tableau is a plus)
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to design and present analysis in a concise manner
Have the ability to work both autonomously and with finance/non-finance partners
Takes ownership of the accuracy, reliability and relevance of the reporting and analysis
Ability to build trust and gain support of personnel across organization
