Director of Technology Communications 

Intro: Are you are a creator that loves building things from the ground up? If so, then this is the role for you! Technology is at the heart of Expedia Group’s mission – to power travel for everyone, everywhere. The Director of Technology Communications will craft the communication strategy to drive EGs next era of growth. You’ll get to work with some of the best communication pros in the business, senior leadership, engineers, and developers to create and tell our product and tech story. 

Who you are:

  • An amazing written and oral communicator who can deliver clear ideas 

  • A captivating storyteller who can translate technical material into easily understood, compelling content  

  • A collaborator with strong relationship skills and the ability to deliver results with global, multi-cultural, and remote teams 

  • A creative person possessing a high level of comfort with a fast-paced, dynamic work environment 

  • Experience balancing and prioritizing the needs of multiple partners 

What you will do: 

  • Develop a comprehensive internal and external communications program that positions Expedia Group as the leader in travel technology 

  • Serve as communications counsel for C-level executives

  • Partner with corporate communications to develop storylines and pitches

  • Partner with social media to develop amplification strategy

  • Use knowledge of, and experience with, developer and open source communities

  • Use measurement tools to assess the impact of communications programs to refine activities
