As we continue to expand our services and responsibilities, we are seeking a hard working Media Buyer to join us at a pivotal time in our voyage. You are a data driven, and highly analytical media buyer who thrives in a fast paced setting, collaborating across an international team. You have the dedication to stay ahead of the latest innovations and media marketplace trends, deftly sharing your experience in a collaborative and advisory manner. You will play an integral role in negotiating and stewarding innovative cross-media packages, capitalizing on multi-million-dollar annual Brand budgets.

What you'll do

  • Effectively negotiate and steward Expedia Group Brand media buys for US

  • Serve as media specialist providing insights on the media marketplace, macro-trends and opportunities across media channels and formats, particularly TV

  • Generate market/vendor budgets and delivery (GRPs, impressions, sponsorship integrations)

  • Compile and analyze relevant metrics on an ongoing basis to optimize schedules, analyze media alternatives and make robust recommendations

  • Efficiently run media schedules, reconciliation and make-good activity

  • Develop pre and post-campaign summations for Brand media deals, sponsorships, and integrations.

  • Collaborate with internal team to build and execute buy and testing strategies that drive business efficiencies.

  • Work with ad creative partners to make sure trafficking timelines are met

What you bring

  • At least 2+ years Media Buying expertise in National and Local TV, with solid knowledge of Radio, Digital and OOH media

  • Experience with emerging TV platforms (connected TV/OTT, addressable, programmatic TV) preferred

  • Deep understanding of brand and direct response media buying techniques and analysis

  • Strong analytical skill set - robust experience in deriving TV optimization insights from data to deliver sound recommendations

  • Highly collaborative, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with Brands, EG Media leads, Finance, and vendors

  • Conscientious, flexible - prospers in fast paced, culturally diverse environment

  • Proactive, attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver, with ability to meet team goals

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required and minimum 2+ years TV buying experience

  • 2+ years experience with MediaOcean DS buy management platforms

  • Experience working with media buying and research software such as MRI and SQAD

  • Minimum intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office in Excel and PowerPoint
