People Team - Workday Process Analyst

In this role, you will be a part of the newly formed Global HR Operations organization that is responsible for providing simple, scalable, and efficient core HR services to all Expedia employees worldwide.

As the People Team - Workday Process Analyst, you will provide direct support for employee related activities on the Time & Attendance (T&A) product with a focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience, processing transactions with high quality and proactively identifying ways to improve service delivery.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with Time and Absence (Workday) product team to help with requirements, testing and execution of the product.
  • Represent HR Ops on daily stand up calls with Tech/Program teams and feed new development back to the team. 
  • Research and resolve unexpected results or process flaws ensuring any risks are identified and mitigated.
  • Execute daily maintenance activities including but not limited to Mass approvals of leaves in Workday, EIBs and other Workday tasks.
  • Identify and articulate process improvements in T&A, understand potential Workday constraints and offer practical solutions on how to best deliver the solution.
  • Responsible for quality assurance, helping with writing test scripts and testing execution for any workday features/modules being adopted other than Time and Absence.
  • Monitor and track product adoption and feedback to help in the prioritization of what actions to go after given impact
  • Participate in ad hoc workday enhancement opportunities – Writing a JIRA, supporting with QA and UAT.

Who you are: 

  • Strong relationship building/management capability; collaborating & negotiating with partners to drive product strategy.
  • Have functional knowledge of at least one from the Core HR, Compensation, and Time and Absence. 
  • Prior experience in Workday process transition and project handling a plus.
  • Knowledge of creating and working on JIRA’s for system configuration
  • Prior experience in case handling
