Expedia Group’s Travel Partners Group is seeking a gifted Senior Designer. Our team is responsible for developing relationships with hotels and other supply lines-of-business including other lodging/vacation rental properties, air, car and cruise worldwide and supporting their ongoing success on the Expedia Group travel platform.
Reporting to the Director of Content & Design; the Senior Designer will have a successful track record creating design solutions that deliver high impact across digital and offline assets with the focus on bringing our partner-facing communications and campaign strategies to life.
Design work will include creating and leading initiatives that require branding guidelines, visual identities, emails, websites, banner ads, print adverts, posters, presentations, flyers, event materials and videos. This role will drive best practice of Expedia Group’s brand expression and visual identity across all assets.
This is a great opportunity to support a focused, multi-national marketing team for the leading travel and technology company. Working in a fast-paced environment and delivering projects to tight deadlines and enjoy the variety of turning around smaller design tasks in addition to larger more complex initiatives.
This role can be based out of London or Austin.

What you'll do:
Ideate and design engaging scalable content across all channels, including digital assets, case studies, blogs, video, whitepapers, business presentations, infographics and events/trade shows.
Develop and manage overall creative strategy for campaigns as well as implement the visual expression across all assets.
Has brand oversight and maintain design standards within the team and across all assets.
Identify and initiate improvements to the design and execution of graphics material that’s on-brand.
Measure to continue improving and optimizing creatives.
Pilot alternative and creative ways to deliver the best engagement from our audience through good design and best practices.
Work with external agencies, freelancers and internal designers to deliver creatives that are on brand, on budget and on schedule.
Develop visual styles for global campaign strategies and adapt/adjust for regional marketing assets and develop usage guidelines
Who you are:
A very good understanding of UX/UI design, wireframes and the user experience
Good understanding of HTML and CSS3 knowledge
An expert in Adobe Creative Suite and good knowledge of PowerPoint and Keynote as well as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Experience in animation, video production and apps, while not essential, would be a benefit
In depth digital design capabilities
A great graphic designer and typographer with a fantastic online/offline portfolio
The ability to work effectively under deadline, proactive and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Impeccable organisational skills and the ability to think on your feet and use your initiative
Strong interpersonal skills required to network and build relationships within Expedia Group
Experience cross collaborating with marketing, developers and copywriters
Positive and self-motivated personality
Creative conceptual thinker
Experienced creative professional, with extensive experience of creating creative and impactful designs for a range of audiences
Proven global operator, working with an extremely diverse range of stakeholders and audiences, including influencing and presenting to senior stakeholders
Familiar with some marketing automation tools, e.g., Salesforce, Marketo and Adobe Experience Management platform
Proven experience, practical experience, professional experience.
7+ years’ experience preferably in the digital sector
Background in travel or ecommerce industries preferred
Ability to travel for business when required
Supply an up-to-date online portfolio
