Sales Representative

We are seeking a talented inside sales team-player based in Sydney or Newcastle to generate new Escapia business within Australia and New Zealand. Specifically, this person will find and win business for Escapia, our property management software business which helps over 1,000 holiday rental managers simplify operations and run their business through our powerful platform. You will report to the General Manager (ANZ), working on a base plus commission basis in a team selling environment. To be successful, you will need to have an elite combination of organisation, time-management, and self-starter abilities all in a consultative team sales environment. You will work closely with your sales team members as well as across other departments. 

What you’ll do:

  • Prospect, present, and sell complex, Software-as-a-Service holiday rental management software to managers throughout Australia and New Zealand
  • Facilitate warm-lead and highly qualified sales to existing customers moving from our YesBookit software to Escapia
  • Outbound prospecting based on relevant campaigns (email and phone) 
  • Qualify and sell to inbound leads, plus qualify, and triage all other inquiries as appropriate. 
  • Research and profile targeted companies to identify key contacts & uncover opportunities
  • Excellent and professional qualification and follow up on leads from website, advertising, and trade shows
  • Identify and document prospect's needs, expectations, and priorities
  • Conduct virtual demonstrations of Escapia offerings
  • Document every touch point via Salesforce.com
  • Partner with Escapia marketing team to define and deliver regular outbound campaigns
  • Weekly and ad-hoc prospect reporting

Who are you:

  • 2+ years of sales experience via phone and email (software sales preferred) 
  • You should have shown success in lead generation and lead qualification
  • Knowledge of CRM Systems (Salesforce.com a plus)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and organizational skills
  • Deep understanding of internet technologies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Should be a highly motivated, dependable self-starter who can work independently while maintaining a sense of collaboration
  • Bachelor’s Degree or related field; or equivalent related professional experience
