Sr Director, Product & Technology, Cruise
As the Sr Director of Product and Technology for the Cruise Product Line of Business, you will be delivering the future of Cruise at Expedia, responsible for the design and execution of the product & technology strategy for Cruise and will lead the Cruise organization in a hub and spoke model, with a dotted-line responsible for Marketing, Supplier Relations/Negotiation, Analytics and Finance.
Your mission is to deliver new customer-centric features, content and services through our technology that enable the growth of the Cruise business. Working in partnership with the product leadership team to create an elite traveler experience and growing the business. This position requires a standout product and technology leader.
Working with key partners across EG to establish and drive the product roadmap for the Cruise platform. Being responsible for this critical marketplace expansion and build our next generation of commercial grade systems. This role is game changing for Expedia and career making for you. You are a technology leader with next generation sophisticated system experience; able to lead through a high level of complexity; and scale system that run at least 100B events a day.
The position requires working closely with peers across various lines of business and all brands within Expedia Group to build new and improve Cruise products and experience. As a result, you will need to be a practiced negotiator and a creative problem solver capable of building consensus across a global organization.
Key member of the Cruise Leadership and Transportation Leadership team for Expedia Group, working in closer partnership with Data Science, UX, Analytics, Product, Engineering, Strategy and Supply.

Well-respected leader in Product & Technology and acting as a role model for all employees in areas of Architecture, Machine Learning & Data Science Search Algorithms.
Grow the business by creating and communicating the Product vision to all partners, and then drive execution to make that vision a reality.
Lead global, multi-functional teams to conceive and develop new product concepts, establish development achievements, and own the development, implementation and subsequent rollout.
Coordinate multiple projects and details without losing site of the ‘big picture’.

15+ years of software development leadership with experience in Search technologies as well as mobile & web-based products.
Experience leading diverse and globally dispersed teams in high-impact initiatives that deliver meaningful business results.

Be self-directed and able to move forward in a somewhat ambiguous environment.
Curious and highly analytical, adept at using data to uncover hidden customer needs and deeply understand key business drivers.
