Senior Manager, Content Systems & Programs
Are you a technically-minded content strategy leader looking to join a forward-thinking team of content professionals? Then look no further, this is the job for you! The Knowledge Management (KM) team in the Travel Partners Group is looking for a leader to handle our content management system (CMS) strategy, ensure our users have tools to support self-service content experiences, and drive strategic projects that enable the KM team to move the needle on our meaningful content metrics.
In this role, you'll provide scalable, lightweight mechanisms to ensure KM can rapidly respond to business needs, receive and act on content feedback, and continuously improve content performance. You'll be a working manager, responsibly steering a CMS strategy, running strategic projects, and leading a small team.
What you'll do:
Own KM’s roadmap of initiatives, communicating priorities, commitments, and status effectively, bringing others along on the journey toward a project or program goal
Partner with other teams to responsibly run the organization’s CMS, including owning the administrative function of the product
Develop scalable mechanisms and drive improvements to internal knowledge content discoverability and content performance with strategic programs and tool investments
Develop and implement a prioritization schema supported by data to ensure the right work is delivered at the right time to support partners, business priorities, and team goals
Follow standard project management and continuous improvement methodologies in scoping, managing, and implementing programs and projects
Collaborate inclusively in a complex, matrixed environment, making space for all voices to be heard and considered in developing solutions to systemic problems
Lead a team of employees, providing leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to enable the team to learn and grow in their careers
Who you are:
Demonstrated ability in product or program management in a professional technology organization
2+ years of experience in people management roles
Experience leading enterprise software projects from requirements through implementation
Exceptional ability to simplify complex processes
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, handle constraints, and make tradeoffs when managing projects and programs
Proficient in analyzing content analytics, reaching data-based conclusions, and taking actions supported by data
Background in information architecture (IA), user experience (UX), design, and/or user research
