Director, Regional Marketing

Our team is based in locations all around the world, and we drive marketing at scale for to Expedia Group’s partner business. We are looking for a Director of Regional Marketing for the Americas team who excels defining and delivering on a marketing strategy in a specific country or region and leading a team. As the team leader, you will lead Regional Marketers located in the US and Latin American regions. Success is defined by your ability to deepen engagement and satisfaction with our lodging and vacation rental partners!
What you’ll do:
Interlock with regional account managers to ensure ongoing agreement on priorities, adjusting strategies and plans to accommodate changing market conditions and emerging opportunities
Work with campaign team leaders and team members to develop campaigns and programs that reflect the needs of the region’s local markets
Build, test and optimize and increase the effectiveness of regional marketing campaigns and programs
Guide the team to build and execute program that deliver measurable results to meet our Travel Partner Group (TPG) goals and objectives
Guide team on building effective digital content for our target audiences.
Forecast, measure, and analyze metrics to assess the impact of the digital channels and activities in terms of key performance indicators
Lead marketing initiatives in alignment with our business objectives - running this across a globally matrixed organization
Gain acceptance from upper management for marketing plans and budgets.
Manage and adhere to regional marketing budget
Ensure all marketing programs are culturally appropriate and in compliance with local data privacy regulations
Who you are:
10 or more years in B2B Marketing, preferably in B2B technology
5 or more years of field/regional marketing leadership experience
3 or more years’ experience managing and motivating a team
Experience working with sales to meet or exceed annual growth targets – actual sales experience highly desirable as well
Experience working effectively across the organization with groups such as sales, product, or account management to build campaigns and programs to achieve business goals
Experience creating and implementing marketing campaigns and programs that engage customers/partners --- using a range of marketing strategies and technologies
Excellent communicator with validated ability to clearly convey sophisticated ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats
Exceptional planning and project management skills – consistently producing results on time and within budget
Understand digital tactics and channels - strategically employing them in a demand generation campaign
Experience marketing, positioning, and differentiating similar products and services
Willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications, or a related field
MBA in marketing or related area strongly preferred
