The CRM Business Intelligence Executive will support the CRM team in delivery of our global email & push programmes through in-depth analysis, reporting and testing expertise. The person in this role will work closely with business stakeholders & the analytics function to deliver a robust suite of reporting for campaign, channel and customer level metrics to in order to drive actionable insight and improvements in performance.
The ideal candidate should have digital marketing experience and strong analytical skills, particularly using SQL & Tableau. The successful individual will be able to conduct multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and own deliverables end to end. Critical to the success of this role is your ability to work with data sets, develop insightful analysis and communicate findings in a clear and compelling way. Curiosity and real passion for making an impact, along with strong attention to detail are also a must.
What you’ll do:
Analyse CRM, Coupon & Merchandising campaign activity to understand drivers of performance against our objectives.
Present the performance findings & insights to stakeholders across Expedia Group.
Be the go-to person for questions on reporting & analysis of CRM programmes.
Offer support to the CRM testing process & identify opportunities for testing.
Assist with the management of reporting & insights for CRM, Coupons and Merchandising.
Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand business reporting requirements.
Build datasets using SQL to extract & query data efficiently.
Build & update visually engaging, interactive Tableau dashboards to reflect stakeholder requirements & provide insights.
Understand & help maintain marketing tracking codes for CRM.
Proactively seek out opportunities to add value to the business.
Who you are:
Experience creating reports using data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)
Ability to query data with SQL
Proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel
Understanding of web analytics tools e.g. Omniture, Google Analytics (desirable)
Programming experience is desirable (R, Python, ETL tools) (desirable)
Experience/exposure to database management and manipulation (desirable)
Experience in email marketing & use of Email Service Providers (desirable)
Experience of a corporate environment where KPIs are key to the success of the business
Demonstrated attention to detail
Strong analytical skills & confidence in utilising data
