Expedia Group is looking for a hardworking Senior Manager, Supplier Tax Information Reporting to lead a team working cross-functionally which is focused on global supplier tax information reporting operations.
This role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure across Expedia Group’s business operations and functional teams. You and your team will partner with regional leaders, Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, Tax, Legal, Regulatory Operations, and Government Affairs to research and define appropriate product solutions, establish processes, lead execution and track overall progress. Through strong leadership and maintenance of significant alignments with key departments within Expedia, you will influence our response to evolving tax reporting requirements by ensuring they are well planned and optimally executed. You and your team will understand the overall business impact of new tax reporting requirements for online travel agents, implement coordinated programs in response to the new tax reporting requirements, ensure timely filing of reporting, and liaise with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues as they arise.

What you will do/role & responsibility:
You will lead by example in demonstrating Expedia Group’s commitment to community partnership
With your skills, you will develop scalable processes and tools to meet compliance objectives, develop a framework to identify and resolve gaps
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and find opportunities for improvement
Partner cross-functionally to resolve performance issues linked to tax information requirements
Establish a weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cadence for leadership and stakeholders
Derive insights from internal and external data that enable leadership to make critical business and investment decisions
Inspire team members to pursue an environment of customer centricity and continuous improvement
Lead employee development through effective goal setting, regular coaching, and continuous feedback
Manage and provide assistance by sharing your why, answering questions with an open mind, giving feedback, and providing guidance on team issues with demonstrated subject matter expertise
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred or equivalent related professional experience
6+ years of experience with exposure to operations and/or E-commerce
2+ years of experience leading a team in an operational function
Tax experience a plus
Experience with two-sided marketplaces and/or regulated industries a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence others
Proven track record to be creative and provide structured problem solving
Basic Tableau/SQL/GA/(BigQuery)/(Datameer) skills a plus
Moving quickly and deliberately, using data to guide decisions and testing to achieve breakthroughs
