The Checkout platform team is part of Expedia group's Platform and Marketplaces organization. At the core, our platform interfaces with some of the key systems, like identity, order management, payments, loyalty, coupons, analytics, and messaging to serve customers. While focusing on the core platform, we also aim to ensure configurability for brands and partners to help them have differentiators. Our team is charged with evolving our capabilities to support new business models and extend Checkout more broadly to all of our brands
Sitting at the sharp end of the conversion funnel our Checkout platform processes millions of bookings a week from customers across the globe using any one of our 40+ localized websites or our award-winning mobile app. It’s an exciting time to join the team as we’re setting about building the next generation of our platform using modern frameworks such as GraphQL and microservices-based architecture.
