Cross-Domain Program Manager
Expedia’s Data, AI, Platforms & Systems (DAPS) Organization are looking for a Program Manager to join a small team working on cross-domain programs and cross-organizational activities.
You will have an opportunity to learn the technical aspects of implementation and help our teams through priorities and decision-making.

What you’ll do:
You will apply the software development lifecycle and the various agile engineering practices that can be used (e.g., in planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, acceptance testing)
You will track project schedule by obtaining input from working team
You will keep relevant stakeholders informed of progress toward or changes to task timing that impacts the project schedule
You will maintain program/project documentation and corresponding meetings as needed
You will interface with stakeholders and drive some collaboration efforts solutions to issues
You will recognize and follow patterns that exist inside and across systems
You will identify areas where efficiency and process improvement are needed within your own work area
You will apply new ideas or approaches to your own work to enhance outputs
You will support the Product Manager by learning about the various stages of the product development lifecycle
You will coordinate and facilitate conversations regarding product development lifecycle in your immediate team
You will understand EG’s processes, objectives and challenges and your impact on the business
You will seek relevant information to ensure your own understanding of complex information
You will anticipate and assist team members in the creation of routine technical communication materials (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages)
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in related field; or equivalent related professional experience
Prior experience in Program Management is required
Demonstrates an understanding of functional technical information (e.g. user flows, technical system design and workflows)
Clearly and confidently articulates decision-making rationale, solutions, methodologies and frameworks to team members and both technical and non-technical partners
Anticipates and assists team members in the creation of routine technical communication materials (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages)
Proactively contributes to cross-team collaboration ensuring the best available information is included in analysis and shares findings with peers and leaders
Considers the audience's needs and context when crafting solutions or presenting ideas and can identify how the needs of different audiences may differ
Exhibits knowledge of the organization's processes, objectives, and challenges and their impact on the business
An optimistic personality that continuously motivates and encourages those around you
