Working with our team requires a rare blend of business insight and technical skills shown through the ability to translate problems into impactful roadmaps and backlogs. You understand goals and define requirements in partnership with stakeholders, product management, and development teams to drive desired outcomes. You have strong problem-solving skills and technical understanding. You can influence business and technical leaders in a versatile environment. Common responsibilities include: leading planning sessions, triaging issues and risks, communicating with internal clients, promoting/mentoring agile practices and continuous improvement, and collaborating with engineering management.

What you'll do:

  • Apply the software development lifecycle and the various agile engineering practices that can be used (e.g., in planning, requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, acceptance testing)

  • Assist subject matter specialists in defining requirements as needed contributing to the project schedule and maintain program/project documentation and corresponding meetings as needed. Also, track issues and mitigation plans for risk management, and lead technical, unambiguous projects under supervision

  • You will independently execute tasks and/or provides data to support implementation of holistic solutions that forge linkages between structure, people, process, and technology

  • Identify areas where efficiency and process improvement are needed within your own work area

  • Carry out stages of the product development lifecycle, bringing a product to market by supporting the different phases and improving product performance

  • Understand (internal and external) customers’ needs and begins to develop the skills necessary to help customers understand business challenges

  • Seek relevant information to ensure your own understanding of complex information

Who you are:

  • 2-4 years of program/project management within a technology environment with a record of leading and delivering multiple software systems or services simultaneously involving cross-functional teams. Experience as a scrum master or agile product owner and have a strong understanding of SDLC

  • Demonstrates an understanding of functional technical information (e.g. user flows, technical system design, and workflows). Able to clearly articulate decision-making rationale, solutions, methodologies, and frameworks

  • Anticipates and assists team members in the creation of routine technical communication materials (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages)

  • Proactively contributes to cross-team collaboration ensuring the best available information is included in analysis and shares findings with peers and leaders

  • Exhibits knowledge of the organization's processes, objectives, and challenges and their impact on the business

  • Self-starter able to creatively resolve complicated business and technology problems in ambiguous situations

  • Prior experience with API, Database, and/or AWS preferred
