Software Development Engineer II

We’re looking for a savvy full stack Software Development Engineer II to work with a group of spirited engineers, architects, designers and product experts to build new and innovative features for our travel platform. You’ll be responsible for the delivery of initiatives, maintaining high coding standards complete with unit & integration tests.
What you’ll do:
Implement various initiatives, ensuring the system design meets scalability and performance requirements
Drive continuous improvement in our software and development process within an agile development team
Write automated unit and integrations test as appropriate to support our continuous integration pipelines
Communicate complex technical solutions to a variety of stakeholders
Work with cross-functional teams to research and resolve production issues
Who you are:
BS and/or MS in Computer Science
2+ years of software development experience
Experience with React, responsive web design, Bootstrap (or similar CSS framework)
Knowledge of GraphQL and PWA is good to have
Must be familiar with microservices development using frameworks like springboot, dropwizard etc
Knowledge of AWS, containers/dockers is good to have
Adept at maintaining cross-browser compatibility and debugging
Excellent verbal and written skills, with proven ability to communicate complex ideas
Ability to write clean, coherent code and follow established coding conventions
Results-oriented and proactive
Experience at other fast-paced Internet companies, especially Travel companies, is a big plus
