We are looking for a Sr Credit Card Marketing Manager to join the Hotels.com team to lead the marketing strategy for the recently launched Hotels.com co-brand credit card. What you’ll do:
Set up a credit card marketing function including developing a strategy, value propositions, reporting, performance assessment, marketing attribution, and operating models with external and internal partners
Develop Expedia Group card propositions and define a strategy on how we go to market collectively
Lead credit card acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention: planning, prioritizing, monitoring, and decision making. Accountable for delivering results vs forecast
Manage a sizable annual marketing budget, ensuring appropriate return on investment monitoring and reporting is in place
Partner with Wells Fargo and Visa on optimization of approval, activation, and spend
Partner with Expedia Group channel owners to execute on the strategy
Develop card awareness plan together with Hotels.com PR, brand, and media teams
Be the in-house expert on cobrand marketing, working with internal and external partners to develop a compelling and creative omni-channel marketing strategy for the Hotels.com Rewards Credit Card
Be the powerhouse behind end-to-end campaign development; leading an innovative campaign strategy, execution, optimization and analysis
Communicate and advocate for the card success; ensuring strong internal visibility of credit card marketing activity at all levels of the organization and develop strong stakeholder relationships
Be a champion of test and learn, ensuring testing, data and customer research are at the heart of all decision-making
Provide thought-leadership on effective cobrand credit card marketing and proposition development approaches and input into the on-going product roadmap
Who you are:
7-10 years of Credit Card marketing experience highly preferred; a good understanding of the credit card industry and financial services landscape (travel-specific cobrand credit card knowledge and experience are a plus)
Strategic leader with strong problem solving skill, strong business sense, keen ability to prioritize, and flexibility to deal with changes
Strong track record in translating strategic insights into actions and results
Digital marketing experience or management consulting preferred
Excellent internal and external partner management and people skills; experience in matrix organizations preferred
Exceptional persuasion, and influencing skills with demonstrated success in gaining consensus
Dedicated, high-energy, creative, self-starter looking to have a significant impact on business success
Ability to operate independently and to define objectives and structure, with minimal supervision.
Detailed oriented with the ability to tackle the minutiae while keeping a perspective on the bigger picture
Strong analytical skills with an ability to get into the detail of a complex set of data and draw practical conclusions and insights
