We're looking for a capable, motivated Software Development Engineer II to join us in building a world-class conversation platform and customer focused software.

What you'll do:

  • Own and deliver tested and optimized high-performance code for a distributed messaging environment

  • Participate in resolution of production issues and lead efforts toward solutions

  • Contribute to vigilantly rewriting, refactoring, and perfecting code

  • Co-ordinate and work effectively with TPMs, engineers of different technical backgrounds, architects, and product managers

  • Technologies we use: Java, AWS, Kafka, Node.js, React, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, S3, Lambda, Docker, Data Dog, Looker

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of experience in Software development

  • Problem solver and an excellent coder with a good understanding of algorithms, data structures, distributed applications, and data modeling

  • Passionate about the quality of work, you are persistent and uncompromising

  • Experienced in solving distributed computing problems

  • You have worked on real time streaming, distributed messaging platforms and have helped operationalize them
