Media Billing Specialist
The Media Billing Specialist is a crucial role in our growing internal media buying team, working directly with our Expedia Group team members to manage the full media billing cycle and budget reporting.

What you'll do:
You will manage the full cycle of media billing (purchase orders, accruals, vendor payments, and final reconciliation) for the Americas region (US, Canada, and LATAM markets)
You will work with media buyers to obtain all proper buy documentation (signed buy authorizations) to comply with audit requirements
You will ensure media vendor invoices are processed and paid on time (per vendor contracts); follow up on any missing vendor invoices
Collaborating with media buyers to reconcile media buys to billing, you will confirm Expedia receives negotiated makegoods and accurate invoices
You will set up and effectively manage all the Americas media purchase orders, billing, and budget reports; reconcile billing to budget reports; handle all media buy audit requests
You will prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis where needed
You will act as liaison between media vendors, Expedia Brand team, and corporate billing and procurement operations
Who you are:
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience with MediaOcean (or similar buy management platform)
You are proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, with outstanding skills in Excel
You have strong organizational and analytical skills; detailed-oriented
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
You demonstrate an ability to write concise, informative, and numerically accurate reports
You are able to multi-task, work independently, and be proactive
You know how to interact and communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors
B.S. / B.A in Accounting/Finance required
Knowledge of basic Accounting Principles
Familiarity with accounting compliances preferred (e.g. Sarbanes Oxley)
Minimum of 2-3 years in media billing
