As part of Brand Expedia Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will join the team supporting the largest brand within Expedia Group.
We are looking for a hardworking and driven finance professional, who is curious and motivated to make our team and company better.
You will help support the Brand Expedia leadership team, who are responsible for driving healthy and sustainable long-term growth for the brand, meeting the financial plan, and hitting their key performance targets. You will partner with trading, analytics, marketing, and other finance teams to analyze performance and identify insights that will help our business partners meet their goals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You will produce weekly and monthly management reports to deliver in-depth analysis of Brand Expedia's performance.
You will work across various functions to support initiatives that add business value and drive top and bottom line growth.
You will focus on understanding the economics and drivers of profitability of Expedia's P&L.
You will analyze business trends and investigate variances versus expectations.
You will provide ad hoc financial analysis and business case support.
WHO YOU ARE:
BA/BS in finance, business, economics, or a relevant quantitative field is required.
You have 3+ years of proven experience in an analytical role within Finance.
You have advanced Excel skills, including complex modeling and experience with large datasets; SQL experience would be a plus.
You have experience using Hyperion/Essbase and Oracle or other financial planning systems.
You are passionate about using data to drive better decision making.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present to financial and non-financial partners.
