Principle Product Manager

Do you love to partner with business leaders and help them mitigate risks? Do you love to hypothesize, validate, lead and deliver on appropriate technical, business and process controls to measure, detect, prevent and recover losses? Do you take pride in having an impact to the company’s top and bottom line? Then this is a role for you. As the Principal Product Manager in Expedia’s eCommerce Platform Risk and Security (ERS) team, you will be a leader in protecting Expedia Group from loses due to consumer, partner, supplier, affiliate and loyalty fraud. 

What you will do

  • You will systematically assess our customers' (internal & external, consumers & businesses) current and long-term risk mitigation needs
  • You will find opportunities to use our advanced risk detection and mitigation capabilities
  • You will build risk assessment business models, develop and execute on product roadmap and business cases
  • You will collaborate with senior leadership, various Expedia brands and peer teams to lead definition and evolution of our risk strategy.
  • You will guide and interface closely with technology, data science and fraud operations teams to define scope, review and refine capabilities, prioritize features, and define new customer experiences
  • You will build long-term instrumentation, monitoring and evaluation capabilities for tracking and reporting the state of loss.
  • You will communicate and report overall status, primary metrics, key results, issues and solution plans.

Who you are

  • 2+ years of strategy planning or business development experience
  • Have 3+ years of product management experience in the tech industry
  • Have proven ability in fraud management to improve fraud prevention posture
  • Master in effectively collaborating with multiple teams for efficient enterprise experiences
  • Experience in iterative and agile software delivery
  • Experience working with data analytics and modeling solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - being able to engage with development team as well as with senior executives
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize and drive efforts independently
  • Familiarity with fraud vendor solutions is a plus
