The Wotif Group is on the hunt for a Social Media Specialist, to join our award-winning team in either Brisbane or Sydney for a 12-month maternity leave cover to grow and nurture our community of travel lovers, making our content impossible to resist.
With license to be ‘Bold, Creative and Meaningful’, we do things differently at the Wotif Group. Case in point, that time we gifted Australia its newest Big Thing – The Big Melon in Chinchilla, QLD. Or that time we threw a real-life sausage festival in Mudgee, NSW. Believe us, you won’t get bored.
Reporting into the Head of Social Media and Content, you’ll be empowered to harness the power of social media to make a memorable, meaningful and measurable contribution to the Wotif and lastminute.com.au brands in Australia and New Zealand. We want an energetic social pro not afraid to hit the ground running and make magic happen!
What you’ll do:
No two days are the same but an average week will include ideas generation, campaign planning, community management, social content copywriting, social advertising, blog post writing, design briefings, influencer engagement, cross-team meetings, reporting and basic budget management. Not to mention Friday drinks, regular excuses for cake and an extremely awesome bunch of colleagues.
